The organizers

P & S Melk is an association of artists, scientists and scholars who share interests and activities, and embrace cultural work at the interface between traditional and new cultural technologies.
      
Literaturhaus Hamburg is a literature centre. It provides a venue for literary texts, the meeting of authors and a lively confrontation with literature on a public space.

The Oversættelsescentret or Translation Centre at Copenhagen University has specialised int the translation and linguistic revision of cultural and scientific texts.

The Institut d'Allemand d'Asnières at the Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris is devoted to a myriad of aspects of contemporary literature.

The Centre for Intercultural Studies at Fürstenfeld in Styria is the centre of a nexus of research institutions with an Alpine/Adriatic focus on the humanities and culture in southern Austria, Slovenia and Italy.

The Fondazione “Rinascimento Digitale – Nuove Tecnologie per i Beni Culturali” (Digital Renaissance Foundation – New Technologies for Cultural Heritage)
promotes new technologies for the preservation of cultural heritage the development of new tools and platforms for representation and presentation.

The Oddelek za germanistiko at the University of Maribor is a German studies institute has research concentrations in linguistics, as well as literary and didactic aspects of the early acquisition of second and foreign languages.

The association STRED dialog is centre for culturally concentrated artists. It is designed to create space for intercultural dialogue and collaboration with diverse institutions and individuals involved in scientific and cultural projects as well as the presentation of their work.

The Literature Museum Petöfi, founded in 1954, has housed almost five hundred exhibitions published more than three hundred scientific and popular works as well as exhibition catalogues.

The Egyptian-German cultural centre is a cultural and education institute in Cairo that has striven to present European culture in Egypt since 1998.

Readme.cc's readers and authors are

integrated in a cutting edge web-technology project and academic discourse through collaboration with the Pinakes design and research group. Pinakes 3.0 is an open source non-commercial tool that offers a novel documentary approach for data modelling and use See (http://pinakes.imss.fi.it). It is the fruit of a long-term research project at the Institute and Museum for the history of Science in Florence and since 2006 haas been the premiere research venture of the Fondazione Rinascimento Digitale in Florence.

Readme.cc is the first cultural project to be hosted and granted web-space at the National Central Library in Florence (BNCF). The collection of the BNCF includes over six million printed works as well as 8,000 manuscripts and 46,000 periodicals.

Project Direction

Director: Walter Grond is a novelist and essayist who lives on a bank of the Danube in Lower Austria. he has initiated numerous cultural projects including "Writing on the Web, Literature in the Digital Age" at the Collegium Helveticum of the ETH Zürich in collaboration with the Neuen Zürcher Zeitung.

Editor in Chief: Beat Mazenauer, Literatur Critic, author, Netzworkerr, lives in Luzern and initiator of numerus Internet projekts,  including: www.kulturministerium.cc and www.encyclopaedizer.net, a space installation connected directly with the web.  Together with Walter Grond he publishes "Lesen am Netz. Bücher | Websites".

Financial Director: Edgar Steinberger is a tax advisor and chartered accountant living in Rottenmann Austria.
