Arno Geiger
Born 1968 in Bregenz; grew up in Wolfurt (Vorarlberg), Austria.
Studied German Studies, Comparative Literature, and Ancient History in Vienna and Innsbruck; received his degree in 1993 in Vienna.
Video technician at the Bregenz Festival, 1996–2002.
Participation in the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize competition, 1996 and 2004.
Numerous publications in anthologies and literary magazines as well as many books.
Arno Geiger received the German Book Prize for his novel Es geht uns gut (We Are Doing Fine).
Lives as a freelance writer in Vienna and Wolfurt (Vorarlberg).
