Gabriel García Márquez

Gabriel José de la Concordia García Márquez is a Colombian writer. Perhaps best known for his 1967 novel One Hundred Years of Solitude, Marquez is considered to be one of the key writers in the field of Magical Realism. In recognition of the international important of his work, Marquez was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982.
