Stephen Chbosky
Stephen Chosky is an American novelist, screen writer and film director. He was born and raised in Pennsylvania and was heavily influenced by J.D. Salinger's A Catcher in the Rye. As well as his novel The perks of being a wallflower, Chobsky wrote the screenplay for Rent in 2005. Wallflower was controversial because of its treatment of teen sex and drug use. It was banned in several high schools.
