Michael Flocker
One of 2004's '50 Most Loathsome New Yorkers', according to the New York Press's annual list, Michael Flocker started life in West Berlin. His family left the city for America when the writer was nine, and at 19 he moved to NYC. Having tried his hand at acting in his early twenties and having written and directed the film Hideous Puppets, Flocker returned to New York and wrote The Metrosexual Guide to Style. He has subsequently published three more novels.
