Altaf Tyrewala, born in 1977 in Bombay, studied business studies in New York at Baruch College. In 1999, he returned to Bombay and worked for various enterprises as a software specialist while publishing his first short stories. In 2002, he devoted himself exclusively to writing. “Kein Gott in Sicht” (“No God in sight”) is his first novel.
