[ book tip by sarah raafat ] Once for all time for Sally Wentworth ( summarized by Sarah Raafat ) This novel is  a kind of romance story, it speaks about two persons : Dr Clotilde, who is a doctor at "St .Alma" and Dr Thackery, who is consultant at the same hospital. Clotilde has a friend, called "Rosie", who lives with her in her family house. Clotilde is engaged to Bruce, a surgeon at the Men's Medical Department. Bruce is materialistic and only thinks about money & how to become a famous surgeon. On the other hand, Clotilde is sensible & she does her best in her job When Clotilde's parents pass away in an accident in France , she badly needs Bruce's help, but he doesn't help her at all. Moreover, he breaks off the engagement with her & takes back his diamond ring.  Instead, it is Dr James Thackery, whom she hardly knows, who takes over. He listens to her problems & helps her in managing her financial affairs . So she finds herself falling in love with him, but she doesn't tell him because she hears in the hospital that he is to marry Dr Mary Evans, who is a consultant there. At the end, she discovers that this isn't true & finally he tells her that he is the new owner of her house & he did all that for her. He tells her that he loved her all the time, even before she knew Bruce. Dr Thackery takes Clotilde to a house in London, where he declares his love & asks her to marry him & she agrees. So Clotilde was meant for him all the time .
