The gallery contains pictures taken by a web-camera, a Fotobot, in different cities over the last 3 years:
Between 2004 - 2007 readme.cc was directly connected to Fotobots in locations across Europe. By activating a sensor, passers-by and customers could photograph themselves round the clock. The portraits were stored instantly in the readme.cc archive; captions and comments could then be added over the internet.
- At the World Book Day 2007, in Switzerland, there was an MMS competition for readers to share information about their favourite books.
- This series of photo on art and readers in public spaces was, in part, a prepartion for this.
